Civilab Türkiye

CIVILAB is a civil-society lab that helps communities, women and young people above all, take part in public, social and economic life equally and safely. We built its site with a clear structure that runs from focus areas to projects and publications.

Two products became part of that structure. The Learning Portal delivers the Digital Participation training in four modules: 79 screens, quizzes, a glossary and nine downloadable tools. The Resilience Map makes the findings of workshops in Ordu, Gaziantep and Mersin readable city by city.

All three share one typeface and speak with the same order on a phone and on a desktop. The site and the map carry the organisation’s ink and gold; the portal carries the Digital Democracy Initiative’s purple. Content comes from the sheets the team already uses, so adding a programme or a city never waits on a developer.
